Somewhat reluctantly agreeing to a hiking long weekend in Tasmania with an ex-German army sniper lead to one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had. Two days hiking after two hours drive from Hobart got us to the top of Frenchman’s Cap. Amongst the clouds. Absolutely stunning country, pristine lakes and knee high mud have me planning my next trip!
